Fellowship Dallas Bible Church is located just north of the Dallas city center. Caleb Vance, while only an FM for two years, has jumped in quickly to manage the facility needs of this growing church. The physical footprint of the church covers 125,000 sq ft.

Caleb is not a native Texan. His roots are further east. He was born and raised in Covington, Virginia, and attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA where he earned a degree in intercultural studies. Prior to accepting his current position with FDBC, he was involved in missions. His previous work experience ranged from warehousing to employment with Chick-fil-A. With respect to the most meaningful spiritual influence growing up, other than acceptance of Jesus, was his father.

A contact with Nathan Farr at Smart Church Solutions lead to his decision to join the NACFM.

Caleb is an avid reader, and, interestingly, he loves to cook for other people.

How does one advance a career as a facilities manager? In Caleb’s evolving roles, he says, “Get to know a lot of people who care about the church.” Key here is those “who care.” Creating relationships with others who share a passion for Jesus and for the church they attend is vital.

And being a part of the NACFM has meant much to Caleb. “Join! It's been so helpful and encouraging in such a short amount of time since joining.”
